Today marks the start of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. To the survivors, I see you—know that you're not alone. And for those who experienced domestic violence as children, here’s a virtual hug. I’m excited because, for years, people have told me to start a nonprofit! I’m ready—how about you? Can you support me? As you know, I am prepared to start a new chapter.
Been working in the mental health field, but my true passion is domestic violence—because my childhood was filled with violence. I am on my healing journey every day I am imperfect just trying to create spaces to embrace those differences.
Today is the day applications open. I am looking for 3-5 board members.
